What an amazing experience! We figured since this was our last baby and our last chance at a 3D/4D ultrasound we would splurge and try it. It was worth every penny! Instructions and directions were texted to us which made preparing very easy. The tip about bringing a chocolate bar to get baby moving if we had to ended up being just the trick we need to get baby to move her hands and feet away from her face so we could see her. The technician was so patient and knowledgeable; she really made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see and pointed out lots of neat stuff along the way like the umbilical cord and the fact that she has nice strong bones. We had our 23-week 3D ultrasound at UC Baby. We brought the aunt and grandparents along with us and they were amazed by the whole process and so thrilled to be a part of it. We even broadcast overseas to the other grandparents in Chile and to my great grandparents who are not very computer savvy but had no problem! It was great for me to be in an ultrasound where I got to see it all as opposed to a quick turn of the monitor and a 5 second recap after being prodded for 30 minutes. We chose to do 3D ultrasound after our little bean was uncooperative at my 20-week and we could not determine the gender. Baby continued to be just as uncooperative at UC Baby but Emily worked hard to get it to move and was able to show us the gender! I feel like we were able to see a bit of out baby boy's personality on the screen. It was a memorable experience that I would recommend to others. (March 6, 2016)
I was the January winner for a Heartbeat Bear. I also upgraded to the Bronze Package so my husband, kids and I could see our baby boy. It was such an amazing experience. Our tech was amazing as our boy kept covering his face with his hands or feet. My kids thought it was funny watching their baby brother try to eat his hands. Our pictures are amazing and the receptionist even let my kids pick out their own photo which they now have in their bedrooms. Also the email link with the photos is great to share with our family who live outside the city. And the Heartbeat Bear is amazing! My son loves pressing the button and listening to his baby brother. My wife and I went here for our 3D ultrasound. This is our first child and first 3D ultrasound experience, and I must say, could not have been a better experience. My fiancé and I went to UC Baby location today to see our baby boy and we had an amazing experience! Very professional, cozy and clean atmosphere. The staff was incredible and made us feel very comfortable right away. The technician was extremely thorough and explained everything happening and exactly what we were seeing. What an amazing experience we had yesterday seeing our sweet baby boy on the big screen and the prints we received were absolutely beautiful! Our baby didn't want to cooperate to see his whole face for the first while but the technician was so wonderful and did everything she could to get us some great shots and get the baby moving!
