I had such a terrible experience at my first ultrasound at the hospital. I wasn't told much information, my boyfriend wasn't allowed to see the baby and I did not get a picture. I contacted UC BABY that night to book a 3D ultrasound appointment. They got back to me right away and booked me for the next morning! The sonographer was so much fun and so informative. The atmosphere was extremely positive and I was able to really enjoy the experience this time. This is my first pregnancy, so being my first 3D/HD ultrasound, I was expecting an uncomfortable experience. However, I was extremely wrong. Our technician was very comforting along with being very happy and excited to meet us. We received many photos, more than I expected, and all our questions were answered. Thrilled with my experience at UC Baby Moncton. They took their time and we got some great photos and video. I had to travel from PEI to get there so it was extra expensive with the added cost of the bridge, gas etc., but well worth every penny when we got to see our little man. Thank you for such an amazing experience and I will definitely be recommending this location to my friends.

I was in for a 3D ultrasound at 29 weeks and my experience was fantastic. From the friendly greeting on the admin side to the technician that showed us all kinds of angles of our baby girl. The quality of the imaging was fantastic and more then I could have expected. The immediate family to our baby are in Nova Scotia and West Virgina and they were able to watch and listen in giving them a sneak peak with out even having to be there !! We also were happy to get comforting reassurance on the gender! No need to return any cute dresses or repaint the nursery! The dvd from the session i will cherish as it is worth every penny to see her move and make expressions. I do agree that I think one great session is enough at around the 29-30 week mark in the pregnancy. I had three people in the room with me but you can take up to 5 and it doesn't have to be family so it was really fun. We made a day of it. My husband and I won a package through a UC Baby contest for the St. John's location, and all I can say is, WOW! What an absolutely amazing experience! The ultrasound tech was so friendly, and super patient with getting pictures of our baby girl who kept covering her face! We felt super comfortable and at ease throughout the entire appointment!
