We went for a 3D ultrasound on my 27 weeks. The sonographer was super nice from the moment we stepped in. She explained everything and tried all in her hand to obtain our baby face image, but she wasn't cooperating. She booked us for a repeated session on my 30th week and gave me some advice to help the baby be in a better position. This time, we were able to see her face and get some pictures. Again, the baby wasn't that cooperative, but our tech did everything she could for us to have a nice video and picture of our little one. My family and I didn't know what to expect with the 3D ultrasound and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the manager and ultrasound technician. The technician took extra time with us and explained everything we were seeing with enthusiasm and a smile. We got to see exactly what we came for (despite having some issues with baby cooperating!) My baby was shy and breeched so we were offered another free visit to see if the baby turned. Although she ended up not turning, we got good pictures and it was a beautiful experience. The tech was very patient with the baby. Highly recommended! -- Google Review | Sept 2017
If I could give 100 stars, I would! The BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! We could not see the baby's face, and they offered another session for free to see the face. The staff was so nice and welcoming, I can't find the right words to describe how happy I am with everything! Highly recommend. It will change the whole pregnancy experience for you. They take the time to explain everything to you and offer Live Streaming. It's a blessing, especially if you are an immigrant and you have no family here. We went to UC Baby Edmonton when I was pregnant with my first daughter 4 years ago. My husband and I were a little nervous and excited since this was our first pregnancy and we were unsure of what to expect. But the atmosphere was phenomenal and the staff was so friendly and inviting. The ultrasound technician was so knowledgable and understanding that being pregnant (I was 28 weeks) could be uncomfortable for mom-to-be. She was also very patient in showing us our new bundle. She even counted her 10 fingers and toes. She gave us amazing pictures (not blurry ones like you get from the 2D ultrasounds) on a great keepsake CD. We even bought the Heartbeat Bear, without any pressure from the staff. This experience was by far the best, apart from the day I delivered her, in my entire pregnancy! We are now expecting our second child and have a UC baby appointment booked. I cannot wait to see our new bundle of joy. Thanks UC Baby for all the happy memories!!
