I booked here to find out the gender of my baby because I didn't want to wait- and I got so much more than I expected! The ultrasound was quite a bit longer than any other one I had, and she did both 2D and 3D. I got a CD and printed picture of my baby boys cute little face. We were on the fence if we wanted to pay to do a 3D ultrasound. We are pregnant with twins after 8 years of infertility and because of having two buns in the oven, we get several ultrasounds throughout our pregnancy. We literally waited until the last minute and are SOOOOO glad we did! It was such a great experience. UC Baby is super clean, and their ultrasound tech is super nice and professional. Went to UC Baby in Richmond and it was the best!! The service was great and the quality of work was amazing. I booked my appointment very last minute and they were able to set me up within a few hours. The staff were extremely friendly and were willing to stay till 5:30pm (they close at 4pm) for me. Very comfortable setting, it was nice how there was couches so you could bring your family (4 people) if you wanted, my bf & I loved the sweet bob Marley lullabies they played while performing the ultrasound yesterday, and I love my Heartbeat Bear keepsake. I enjoyed the friendliness of the receptionist and how the technician was passionate and took her time in explaining the different body parts to me confirming my baby's gender like I asked. Incredible experience I wouldn't miss for the world. Friendly staff, great facilities, and a warm environment. Tried not to cry when I saw my child's face for the first time.
I so loved my ultrasound at UC BABY. I'm going to have to dig it out again, but it was remarkable just how accurate it was when he was born as to the picture from our ultrasound. Just as cool, to me, he has this habit of holding his hands over his ears if he's feeling emotional and we noticed he did that a lot in the ultrasound. Some behaviours are just ingrained, I think.
I absolutely loved the experience.. I didn't have the 3D ultrasound with my first, so I really wanted to do it this time around! I am so glad I did! It was amazing! I saw my baby boy and he was so perfect, looked just like my first. My mother-in-law was able to watch from her home in Calgary. I also have the Heartbeat Bear, what a terrific idea!...
