I was the January winner for a Heartbeat Bear. I also upgraded to the Bronze Package so my husband, kids and I could see our baby boy. It was such an amazing experience. Our tech was amazing as our boy kept covering his face with his hands or feet. My kids thought it was funny watching their baby brother try to eat his hands. Our pictures are amazing and the receptionist even let my kids pick out their own photo which they now have in their bedrooms. Also the email link with the photos is great to share with our family who live outside the city. And the Heartbeat Bear is amazing! My son loves pressing the button and listening to his baby brother. We did a 5D ultrasound at UC Baby. The experience from booking until the end of the appointment was amazing! The receptionist was very patient, explained all the packages to me and helped me pick the most suitable option. We were able to get an appointment within just 2 days! When me and my partner arrived the day of, we were greeted enthusiastically, and there was no wait time for our appointment. The sonographer was really empathetic and was happy to answer all our questions. The session with her was very comfortable, fun and relaxing. She took as many photos as she could during a mere 15-minute session . We got lots of cute pictures, and we were not pushed into any “up-selling”, it was chill and laid back. Before we left, we were given a nice goodie bag of practical baby stuff. Dee and Dr Maha also shared some insights and made us feel at ease since this is our first baby. My Wife and I had an appointment at UC BABY Burnaby location last Saturday. It was fun and pleasurable experience. We loved seeing our little one and getting the vivid photos of her cute face, hands and feet. When the regular ultrasound visits could not tell us anything! The technicians always told us that the gender couldn't be determined. What do they know! You should note that we ended up having 5 medically prescribed ultrasounds and none of them could tell us. I went twice, once for a Gender Reveal at 18 weeks and again at 31 weeks. Both times were amazing experiences. At 31 weeks, we had some issues with the baby sleeping with his face pressed up against my uterine wall, so we couldn’t really get a good picture at first. The ultrasound tech gave us an opportunity to leave and come back to see if he’d wake up or move a little. Which was awesome! And we ended up getting some decent pictures in the end. I had the greatest experience during my recent visit - I didn't know what to expect but everyone was so gracious and patient. The images are amazing! The technician was extremely courteous and professional, and since we don't want to know the gender, the technician was careful not to give us any glimpses, or mention anything... and now we have a wonderful keepsake!
