Despite the baby not co-operating, using my placenta as a pillow and facing downwards, I didn't get any pics. However the staff were very nice & accommodating and booked me in for a free session! The reception area is very clean and well presented. The live broadcasting was amazing because my family in England got to participate in my session and see everything!!! The technician was very accommodating and did the best she could to get good pics (baby very stubborn). I had my 3D Ultrasound/ HD Ultrasound at UC Baby Burnaby, and it was such a fantastic experience. I had to reschedule a couple of times, and they were super accommodating. On the day of the scan, my sonographer was extremely thorough and made an effort to get such amazing pictures for us! I'm relatively early (17 weeks) and my fiancé hasn't been able to attend any ultrasounds nor will he be able to attend the future ones (I live in Ontario and he's working in Calgary). I wanted this as a surprise for his birthday, a special moment that he and I could share. The people at UC BABY Calgary were amazing! So helpful and so eager to give us our gender determination. The experience was unforgettable. The technician was amazing and even the receptionist was so kind and friendly! While we unfortunately could not get great quality photos during our 3d ultrasound because the baby was super sleepy and stubborn, I wanted to leave a review to mention how absolutely amazing our ultrasound tech was. She was so incredibly patient, and she went totally above and beyond to try and get images of our baby. While we are sad that the baby didn't cooperate enough to get good images, we are so happy with the experience we had thanks to the tech, and she confirmed the gender. We also bought a Heartbeat Bear for a keepsake. We want to thank her so much for trying so hard today for us!! 2nd visit -- UC Baby went out of their way to bring us back for a repeat session, and our baby was much more cooperative this time!
